For the Girls

To kick off Mothers Day weekend, the girls {Mom, me, Julie and Jessica} took off to New Orleans... for important reasons...

 like shopping...

sightseeing...

eating...

and just to spend some good 'ole quality time together!

We shopped magazine street, ate lunch at Whole Foods, and dinner at La Madeleines...

... and got dessert at Sucre.

You talk about heaven on earth.

It's always nice to "get away" for the day and go somewhere new... I'm not sure that there will be many more times where all four of us can just "get up and go shopping in New Orleans for the day" so we're taking advantage of the fact that we're all together now and not super busy {just yet!}.

Today is Mothers Day, and we made sure she was showered with gifts, flowers, and hilarious cards.

Each of our relationships with her are different but special and Lord knows we wouldn't be where we are today without her sacrifices.

I love having a mom and sisters that I'm so close to... We kind of describe it like having three best friends that you have the freedom to "speak your mind to" Ha!

We always say she's a "cool mom"... Isn't it obvious?? :)
